What People Say:
I've always felt different from other people. I'm sensitive and intuitive. I often felt overwhelmed by the emotions I absorbed from those around me. By using her own intuition and perceptions, Karen taught me how to let go of my fears, set healthy boundaries, and embrace my gifts. I am so happy to have found Karen! ~ V.T.
Life is not a problem to be solved, it is a gift to be opened.

Do Any Of These Describe You?
How Is This Accomplished?
A holistic and integrative approach to psychotherapy uses traditional talk therapy and also uses the mind body connection. This is done through your awareness of how you think and how your body responds to your thoughts. In the tradition of psychotherapy, I sit across from you and guide you verbally, without touch, but with a profound sense of understanding and compassion combined with years of experience of working with people.
Change occurs when we become aware of how our nervous system is connected to how we think. By using techniques such as Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT Mindfulness and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing or EMDR, we evoke the biology of change to support stress reduction and trauma resolution for individuals, adolescents and couples. This helps people to connect to their own healing abilities and helps me guide people to awaken the healer within. Our bodies and mind want to return to a balanced version of ourselves. I have over 30 years experience working with life challenges, am heart centered and guided by intuition during our work together.
